H.S.E. 3 day First Aid at Work

An H.S.E. approved course, certificate valid for 3 years

Annual half day refresher recommended by the HSE, followed by 2 day refresher at the end of the 3 years

A 3 day course suitable for those with a higher risk assessment in the workplace.

 The course is presented by using powerpoint projections with all equipment required including manikins, bandages and dressings and workbooks being provided for use during the training session. 

This 3 day course covers the theory and practical skills required for first aiders in the workplace enabling them to gain the necessary confidence and knowledge to deal with medical emergencies which may arise.

 Subjects covered include; what to do in a emergency, priorities in First Aid, heart attacks and resuscitation techniques, dealing with unconsciousness, treatment for wounds and bleeding, burns, choking, bone or joint injuries.
